What is Cloud Computing?

What is Cloud Computing, Cloud Computing to understand cloud computing, we divide cloud computing into two parts.

The first part is Computing, whenever you listen that type of word what comes on you r mind first Computer right, then what is Computer, which compute something. Computers that use the processor and memory to compute something, and if the word computing exists, they consist of processor and memory (storage).

The second is Cloud, what is Cloud- another name used for the Internet or Cloud is another name that is used everywhere and at any time. A cloud is everywhere and at any time. “This means that anywhere anytime processor and storage”.

Or in a technical word- “Cloud Computing is, it is the use of remote server on the internet to store, manage and process data rather than a local server or your personal computer.”
             or
Cloud computing means: you can store your data, you can manage your data through databases, or you can edit your data by renting a server with more processing power. So you can do your job faster and faster than on a local computer would happen slowly.

Why cloud Computing?

Let's take this as an example of why cloud computing : You want to host a website and say there is no cloud computing if you want to host your website. First you would have to buy a stack server. You need servers that can host your website if you are considering the peak traffic. 

The peak traffic is that traffic, which occurs for a shorter duration. For example, you can expect most traffic between 6am. And 10 o'clock that time when people are most free, so there is a peak traffic and after 10 o'clock. The traffic decreases. If your traffic is booming, you need the server to manage it. And after 10 o'clock. When traffic slows down the servers that you deployed to handle traffic, they become inactive. 

So you need to have as many servers as possible, so you will not have any problems when traffic is in a bit higher. Since you have so many servers, you need to constantly monitor and maintain because your website should not have downtime. You must therefore constantly monitor and maintain them so that your website is ready for use. The setup, which was created without cloud computing, had some disadvantages. Let's see what the disadvantages are.

1)    The setup was very expensive because you buy servers yourself and server people are not cheap.

2)    Since you fix your problems yourself, i.e., maintain and monitor your servers at the same time, these issues can be boring and conflict with your business goals, which I mean. So if you have someone who can handle your servers, you are actually focusing on extending your application. However, if you are half-worried that your website is down or protected with the latest security patches, you cannot focus on one security goal.

3)    The third thing was that your servers are mostly inactive because the traffic varies. 

Types of Cloud computing Models 

Cloud computing is also further divided into models. So there are two types of models in the cloud.

1)    Service Models

2)    Deployment Models

Service models essentially mean what kind of service the cloud offers. This service can be divided into further modules. Then you have the Deployment models. How can you deploy your application when it provides your application, how it is uploaded, and how? You can upload your application to the cloud.

Let’s discuss about both of models in brief  

1. Service models: - 

Basically you have three kind of service models in cloud computing you have

A.   IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)

B.   PaaS (Platform as a Service)

C.    SaaS (Software as a Service) 

So let’s discuss each of these one by one 

A.  IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service): -
Infrastructure as a Service
When I say infrastructure as a service, imagine that you have a server in the cloud. So choose an operating system and you get that server on the cloud. 

For example = Suppose you want a Linux server in the cloud, ask your cloud provider about the Linux system, and you'll get a new system where you can work to get the IP address and password for Desktop to get on this server and now on the server is fresh. You can install everything on this server and such. E.g. you can specify that this is a web server. You can build this server as a database so you can do anything you can do with it. Infrastructure as a service is due to the fact that you have access to the operating system of your server. 

Therefore, it provides virtualized computing resources over the Internet without having to worry about the underlying physical computer because you do not need to manage the physical computer managed by the cloud provider. These are the main point of the infrastructure as a service. 

B.  PaaS (Platform as a Service): -
Platform as a Service

Compared to infrastructure as a service, where you can access the operating system and do everything with the system. If you use the platform as a service, you will not have access to the operating system. You only get one user interface. 

Example: = You want to host a website, so you use an AWS or Azure service and you want a platform. I do not want the entire infrastructure to be the IP address and password so they cannot access the operating system. You'll get a button that clicks the button, uploads it, and uploads your website to it. You do not have to install any software, you do not have to manage the files there. You do not have to upload files that you just need to upload. These files are automatically set up for the link you provide, and you will be redirected to this link and the site will be delivered as it is. You do not need to manage the operating system. This is what PaaS (Platform as a Service) is. 

C.   SaaS (Software as a Service): -
Software as a Service

Essentially, SaaS means that you do not receive a server or a user interface you basically just get a software right. 

For example= Salesforce clouds that is the most common example that you guys might know and for those of you who don’t know salesforce imagine it like this so if you launch a server on the cloud you are getting windows operating system as well, now as you guys know window operating system is licensed but if you are renting the server on the cloud you are basically using windows as a SaaS (Software as a Service) as well. Because you have rented the windows software as well so that is the most easy way can understand id and that you take software as a service rather than taking the whole Infrastructure as a Service or taking as a platform as a Service so this what a software as a Service. 

2.  Deployment Models: - 

Deployment Models are basically of 3 three kinds
Deployment Models

A.   Public Cloud

B.   Hybrid Cloud

C.    Private Cloud 

So let’s discuss each of these one by one 

A.  Public Cloud: - 

Public cloud is basically when you share your server with another host.

B.  Hybrid Cloud: -

Hybrid Cloud is actually a mix of public cloud and private. So if you have an application that uses public cloud and private cloud, call it hybrid cloud. 

For example, if you work in a data science company and you want to host a website, you can host a website in the public cloud. At the same time, however, you also have some confidential data that you do not want to provide for the Internet. So you can do that in the public cloud as well. However, due to corporate policies, you can host them on your own private cloud server. This type of architecture then turns out to be a hybrid cloud architecture that uses the public cloud and the private cloud. 
C.   Private Cloud: -
